Any minors that wish to enter the Restricted Area (defined to be any area which requires special authorization, credentials or permission to enter or any area to which admission by the general public is restricted or prohibited) must have a 2013 Annual Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement signed by BOTH parents or legally appointed guardians on file with the MTQRL before admittance will be granted.
The MTQRL pit area is a Restricted Area as defined above.
A copy of the Annual Release is available for download on the MTQRL website under the 'Rules' tab.
In addition, at each MTQRL race one parent or legally appointed guardian must accompany the minor to sign the Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement. The minor will also be required to sign the Minor's Assumption of Risk and Release and Waiver of Liability.
These forms are required by our insurance carrier to be in compliance and will be required at all MTQRL events where the league purchases the insurance coverage. Those events include all races at the Rush County Fairgrounds (Rushville, Ind.) and Shelby County Fairgrounds (Shelbyville, Ind.).
At any MTQRL events at facilities other than those listed above the individual track insurance requirements will be in place.
Please inform any team members, family or friends that may wish to bring minors into the MTQRL pit area of the requirements in advance. If the appropriate forms are not completed as required the minor will be denied access.
